Female Tesla compatible (UMC) socket can be used in place of the standard J1772 socket giving you the ability to connect to a Tesla UMC, High Power Wall Connector, or Destination Charger.
This plug has all of the pins needed to maintain all functionality and safety protocols used by UMC and J1772 charging systems.
3 foot 50 AMP cable has been hydraulically connected and sealed in waterproof urethane.
UL Rated 50 AMP Cable Configuration:
1 - #8 Red wire connected to one of the Power Pins
1 - #8 Black wire connected to the other Power Pin
1 - #10 Green wire connected to the Ground Pin
1 - #18 Blue wire connected to the Pilot Pin
Extra Connections at socket:
1 - #22 Short Yellow wire connected to the Proximity Pin
1 - #22 Short Purple wire connected to the Pilot Pin
1 - #22 Short Green wire connected to the Ground Pin
This adapter is NOT COMPATIBLE and is not to be used with the Tesla Super Charger Network.
